BE/ B.Tech – Computers/ IT/ Electronics Engineering; MCA
Job Description:
Good understanding of Android Ecosystem – Applicant should have worked either with Android Phones or TV to have a very basic understanding of how Android OS works.
- In-depth understanding of Display technologies – A very basic understanding of LCD/LED/OLED/AMOLED display technologies as well as applications of it like HDR/HDR10/Dolby Vision.
- Aware of Smart TV testing for Board Support Packages – Applicant should have a very clear understanding of TV functions such as HDMI/USB/Optical/Co-axial/Ethernet/Wireless Interfaces.
- Ability to write scripts for testing – Additional benefit if the application has programming experience where the applicant can write scripts which can automate testing functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Day to Day ROM testing – We have 13+ devices which goes through a continuous development process and hence there will be test suites which has complete on demand basis.
- Testing new feature implementations – We follow Agile software development methodology therefore new features/implementations needs to be checked continuously across various iterations.
- Working with BSP Engineers for feature additions and fixes
- User review analysis
- Building automated test system
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of display, sound technology – Applicant should have greater understanding of technology rather than just the functions and is expected to identify new technologies and find applications in our ecosystem of devices.
- Ability to isolate, analyse and identify issues in feature flows – Applicant should be able to identify user behaviour and suggest optimal flows to improve our user experience.
- Self learning – Applicant is expected to learn new things/unknown things by themselves this will ensure they can work independently.
- Programming capability in Java/Python or any scripting language – Any level of programming is hugely welcomed. Applicants can always learn higher levels during their time at work
