Education for Tata Technologies Recruitment 2022:
- BE/ B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with CAD software such as Pro/Engineer Creo 7.0 for 2D drawings and 3D modelling of parts in casting /forging /sheet metals, hoses & pipe routing, creation of assemblies etc.
Job Description:
- Engine and its subsystem packaging & integration on MHCV vehicle models
- Layout preparation and detailed design of cooling , air intake and exhaust system modules for above mentioned vehicle models
- 3D models, 2D detailed drawings and TPL releases in PLM. Support for parts development
- Closure of design issues observed in proto vehicles and field vehicles
Job Responsibilities:
- To make design releases of engine parts and assemblies for proto / serial manufacturing & testing and to develop proprietary parts with suppliers. Creation of bill of material and design releases in PLM software
- To complete engine packaging sign off on vehicles and auxilaries packaging sign offs on engine.
- Proto and serial produciton parts development with vendor development and production agencies such as manufacturing, quality assurance etc.
- Resolving design issues oberved during testing or field through root cause analysis, design modifications and releases
Skills:
- Domain knowledge in Engines and its subsystems design like engine architecture & operating principles, design of engine components such as structural parts, cranktrain parts, belt and gear drives, lubrication systems, pumps, etc.
- Experience in engine packaging on vehicles such as cars and small commercial vehicles and auxiliaries packaging on engine.
