Eligibility Criteria for Dell Recruitment 2022:

  • Advanced English.
  • 1+ years of experience in a previous technical support role
  • Basic/intermediate skill troubleshooting and Knowledge in any SAN/NAS Solutions, Modular Server- Storage Solutions, Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS), TCP/IP Networking / CCNA, Microsoft Server OS – Active Directory.
  • Basic/intermediate Knowledge of current industry high-end storage products and technologies, and/or in one or more of the following technologies, Analytical ability to gather and interpret data, fault Isolation, and Troubleshooting Methodology
  • Comfortable with 24×7 shift.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Isilon/PowerScale or other Networked Attached Storage Solutions,
  • Certifications, such as Network+, CCENT, CCNA or higher, Linux Essentials/ LPI-2 or RHCE, VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, or equivalent.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced, customer-critical environment, working on improving processes, standards, and strategies to perfect our Support Services.
You will:
. Resolve issues while working closely with multi-functional teams
. Provide feedback to Engineering for improving product quality and reliability
. Determine priority levels while negotiating and setting expectations with customers
. Ensure the customer is communicated with in a timely manner and treated with the highest degree of respect
. Drive excellence through quality closures and proper escalation of issues
